Credit Markets Struggle. Credit markets were weak in early trading as the stock market traded lower. Later, Existing Homes Sales reported at 4.93 million units, slightly better than expectations of 4.92 million units. The good news prompted the stock market and rates to improve. Credit markets may be headed toward better levels-- a positive short-term sign.
